Our mission is to rescue, protect and provide lifelong sanctuary for big cats and other large predators who have suffered from neglect, abuse, exploitation or illegal captivity. We are dedicated to creating a safe, naturalistic environment where each animal can thrive with dignity and respect.
Shelby Skinner
Shelby brings over 14 years of hands-on experience working with reputable big cat rescues across the United States. Through this work, she developed the care standards, safety protocols, and ethical rescue practices that form the foundation of Predator Ridge’s mission. With help from her Board of Directors, Shelby oversees all rescue operations, animal care protocols, and habitat development while also managing partnerships, staff, and sanctuary logistics.
The skilled team at Predator Ridge Animal Rescue is dedicated to addressing the challenges that come with wildlife conservation. We believe in promoting awareness, collaboration, and education, which are essential in fostering a deep respect for all living beings and their habitats. Our team is well-equipped and motivated to handle the complexities of conservation work, ensuring that we continue to make meaningful contributions towards protecting our environment.
